Chocolat has earned the lowest ranking heart while Vanilla still hasn't won any! To increase their chances, the girls summon their familiars. Instead of being loyal slaves to the girls though, each familiar has its own personality and soon a war rages between white mouse Blanca and Duke the frog.

When Chocolat discovers a star fencer by the name of Night-switch, (who turns out also a witch and excels at capturing hearts) she comes to find human boys are not only into the shy and quiet types and is determined to use her fiery personality to her advantage. In order to join the fencing club however, Chocolat not Night-switch of love must first score a point against middle school student Pierre, a rude and cold boy the entire female population seems to go nuts over. Will Chocolat be able to accomplish her goal or will her single and only heart be snatched away by the boy as well? In the night.

Chocolat travels back to the Magical World and meets up with her old friends Saule and Houx (nicknamed Soul and Woo) to learn more about her mother, Cinnamon. Clearly she wasn't listening to Robin when he told her that leaving the Human World without permission can get her disqualified! When Robin (their guardian) found out about this, he went back to the Magical World trying to save Chocolat from being disqualified. But suddenly Vanilla enters then the palace and says that she herself left the human world to go back to the Magical World without the permission of their Guardian(Robin), everyone was shocked.

Deemed to capture Prince Pierre's hearts, Chocolat volunteered a trip to Pierre's villa...together with a very annoyed gang of his "fan club" and a very scared Vanilla. She decides to purchase a pair of magic shoes in order to look older and more attractive. But being a lady isn't easy...

Akira, the sci-fi fan in Chocolat and Vanilla's class (who believes them to be extraterrestrials after witnessing them falling from the Moon) is on sick leave, and Chocolat is asked to deliver a note to him. However, they realize his sickness was a pretense as he was searching for Hirotsu, his dog, who has disappeared. Chocolat organises a search party, but fails to find it. Later Hiroshi is found waiting for a ferry bearing Akira's dad.

Chocolat and Vanilla sneak into Robin's studio, looking for clues on how to become an excellent heart-collector like him.
