Caillou Makes Cookies
Caillou is having fun being noisy, but his Mommy asks him to be quiet. All of a sudden he feels hungry, so he goes off to the kitchen -- where he gets the idea to make some cookies. Only instead of making cookies, he makes a great big gooey, sweet and delicious mess!
Caillou's Not Afraid Anymore
Caillou is afraid. He’s afraid of Mr. Hinkle, the kind man who lives next door. He is even afraid of Mr. Hinkle’s house! So when Mr. Hinkle comes to visit to say how sorry he is that Caillou is afraid, Caillou runs away. But it quickly turns into a game of hide and seek and when playtime is over Caillou has made a new friend.
Caillou Hates Vegetables
Caillou really hates vegetables until he goes for a walk in the park with his Grandpa, who shows him all kinds of interesting animals and birds. All this activity makes them hungry—as hungry as bears! So when it’s suppertime, they eat just like bears, pretending their vegetables are berries, (leaving just enough room for cookies, of course).
Caillou's All Alone
Mom is very busy with the household accounts so she doesn’t have time to play with Caillou. Nor does Dad, who’s trying to fix the washing machine. And Grandma’s busy looking after Rosie. Even Gilbert the cat doesn’t want to play with him. Caillou is all alone and feeling a bit sorry for himself. But pretty soon he invents a game with one of his dinosaurs and then he’s too busy to play with everyone else.
Caillou Tidies His Toys
Caillou has left his toys all over the place: on the stairs, in the driveway and even in the bathroom. He has to tidy them all before he can have his chocolate pudding. Part of the problem is that he has so many toys. Mom suggests that he should give some of his old ones to Rosie and Dad suggests that he can make a big toy box. Caillou helps him to make it.
Caillou Learns to Drive
Just like his Daddy, Caillou loves anything to do with cars, so he’s very happy when Dad asks him to help wash the family car. And while he sits in the car, he imagines he’s driving a car to the beach. When he beeps the horn, he surprises Dad, making him accidentally turn the hose on himself. Later on, when the family really goes for a drive to the beach, Caillou is reminded of his imaginary journey.
Caillou at Daycare
It’s Caillou’s first day at day care and he really doesn’t want to go. But once he gets there he meets his teacher, Miss Martin and makes two new friends, Leo and Clementine. Day care is a fun place, after all and when his Mommy comes to pick him up, Caillou doesn’t want to go home!
Caillou Joins the Circus
Caillou gets up very early one morning and gets dressed all by himself. He doesn’t want to miss a trip to the circus. So when Dad points out that the circus trip is the following day, Caillou is very disappointed. In fact he’s not in a good mood at all. But Dad makes everything right by suggesting a special game: together, they create their own circus parade.
Caillou is Afraid in the Dark
Caillou can’t get to sleep because he’s sure there’s a monster in his bedroom. Mom and Dad try to reassure him, but things go from bad to worse when he thinks his toy snake is real. Dad shows him that the scary noises he hears are being made by a tree branch brushing against the window and in the end, the only ‘monster’ in Caillou’s room is Gilbert the cat.
Caillou's Friends
Caillou is talking to Grandma. She's surprised when he tells her he doesn't have any friends. She asks him about Clementine and Leo and reminds him that Gilbert is a friend too. And what about Rosie? Well yes, says Caillou, Rosie is my sister, but she's my friend too. And how about Mr. Hinkle? And Mom and Dad? Pretty soon, Caillou realizes he has lots of friends including Grandma.
Caillou Visits the Doctor
Caillou needs a follow-up visit to the doctor for an earache. He is afraid to go in as the last visit frightened him. But his mother encourages him and the doctor assures him it won't hurt this time. Caillou examines a doll's ear first and thinks it's fun. Then the doctor looks in his. He's on the mend and onto a good thing. When he gets home he shines a flashlight in everyone's ear including Grandma who's snoozing in the armchair!
Big Brother Caillou
Caillou remembers when he was just two and a half and Rosie came home for the first time. Everybody was very excited—everybody except Caillou, who felt a bit left out. But that soon changed, especially when Caillou helped Daddy change Rosie’s diaper.
