Lajian and Yuhe meet Amber, who recently returned from studying film abroad. Inspired by Amber's sharp advice on video content, Lajian excitedly tells Xiao Li, who reacts coldly. When Lajian tells Amber about Gui Lai An, they decide to explore the mountains to uncover the truth behind the legend.

With a map from an old woman, the group sets out for Gudeng Ridge. After enjoying the view, they realize they’re going in circles. Unable to turn back before dark, they camp overnight. Around the fire, they discuss the legend, and Xiao Li shares a theory that Amber agrees with. Late that night, they hear strange sounds in the mountains…

Back from the mountains, Lajian chats with Amber at the café. Meanwhile, Xiao Li secretly uploads a romanticized version of their mountain footage, which boosts channel subscribers. Lajian is displeased. On cleaning day, Amber comes to help and ends up getting locked in a storage room with Lajian…

While rearranging the café, Lajian feels restless. Yuhe reminds him that Amber is just an outsider who happened to help. But when Amber appears, Lajian lights up. They start working on a new menu together, and Yuhe watches them with a complicated expression. Xiao Li rushes to deliver something to Ah Guan.

Seeing Amber and Ah Guan together, Xiao Li gets jealous and angry. He throws Ah Guan’s book and finds an airmail letter inside—a notice of overseas acceptance. Confronting Ah Guan brings only vague answers. Frustrated, Xiao Li runs away and disappears from town, leaving friends searching desperately.

As Xiao Li reminisces about how he and Ah Guan got together, he receives a flood of worried messages from Ah Guan. He almost calls but hesitates. Just then, Ah Guan calls out to him from behind. Meanwhile, Lajian and Yuhe are looking at old yearbooks when Amber appears. They begin asking about Amber’s time at elementary school in Taiwan...

The group plans a farewell party for Ah Guan’s study abroad. At the café, Yuhe notices Amber humming a strange tune. During party games, Xiao Li asks Amber if they like someone. Amber doesn’t answer, opting to take a penalty drink instead. Lajian brings the drunk Amber home. The next morning, a tense but intimate moment lingers as they talk about their feelings.

While livestreaming on campus, Lajian and Xiao Li are watched by Yuhe, who spots someone unexpected and follows them to the university's registration office. The name she hears surprises her. Later, Lajian sees a comment that Amber appeared in the livestream and messages them out of curiosity.

Yuhe learns that Amber is actually Wenwen. Struggling with emotions and old ties, she confides in Jietong, who encourages her. Meanwhile, Lajian notices Yuhe’s odd behavior and presses for answers. She eventually tells him the truth. Confused and hurt, Lajian confronts Amber, demanding to know why they kept the truth hidden.

Lajian is disheartened when Amber doesn’t respond—until he finds them outside the café. Jietong gently supports Yuhe and encourages her to move forward. Alone at last, Lajian and Amber speak openly and begin to resolve their misunderstanding. As they reminisce over a wall mural, they find themselves closer than ever…
