Episode 1
YAU, is a patriotic Taoist priest. He becomes fugitive after assassinating a senior Kam mandarin. Tonight, he is again chased after by the Kam army. He breaks into the house of KWOK and YEUNG to hide away from the army. KWOK and YEUNG are two sworn brothers. They are living together and their wives are both pregnant. They help YAU to fight against the Kam army and they later become very good friends.
Episode 2
The Kam Prince falls for the beauty of MRS. YEUNG at his first sight. He vows to have her as his wife, and he plots to do away with KWOK and YEING. KWOK is killed and his wife is lucky to have escaped to Mongolia, and there is the desert she gives birth to her son CHING. YEUNG is missing. MRS. YEUNG, not knowing the true identity of the KAM PRINCE, marries him out of gratitude. Before long, she also gives birth to a boy named HONG in the Kam Palace.
Episode 3
YAU misunderstands that MRS. YEUNE, PAO SIK YUEK, betrays his husband and decides to kill her. Finding that she has just given birth to HONG, he does not kill her but offers to teach HONG kung-fu five years later. CHING is brought up at Mongolia but he turns out to be dull-witted. MRS. KWOK is worried that he will not be able to take revenge for his father. CHIT PIT is chased by TIT MOK CHUN but CHING saves him. TIT sees that CHIT fights well and accepts him to be his general. CHING learns shooting from CHIT and later becomes sworn brothers with TIT's son TAW LUI. The SEVEN GROTESQUES discover CHING and begin teaching him kung-fu. To train CHING, they tell him to meet them at the mountain at night but find that CHAN YUEN FUNG and MUI CHIU FUNG are at the scene practicing. CHING comes along and CHAN captures him. CHING gets hold of his dagger and stabs CHAN.… ...
Episode 4
Ten years later, CHING grows up to be an upright and proper man but still limited in kung-fu fighting. The Mongolian Princess WAH TSANG is very fond of him. One day, PRINCE SONG KWAN of Chun Lit Tribe and his son TO SI visit TIT while the KAM PRINCE arrives at Mongolia at the same time. TIT is busy receiving them. Annoyed by TO SI who falls for her beauty, Wah TSANG stays with CHING. Being called the Han bastard and defeated by the jealous T0 SI in wrestling, CHING feels ashamed. Resenting at not being installed as feudal lords, LIE MAN TRIBE declares war on the Kam kingdom. SONG KWAN sends two able-bodied soldiers to seek help from CHUN LIT TRIBE but they are killed on the way. Ordered by TIT who sees through the disunity of the LIE MAN soldiers, CHIT PIT and CHING kill the two Lie Man leaders. Losing a central figure, Lie Man is thus defeated. The injured CHING is warmly welcome by the Mongolians.… ...
Episode 5
On seeing the tablet of KWOK and YEUNG in his visit to CHING, the KAM PRINCE knows that CHING is KHOK's descendant. Fearing that MRS. KWOK's reunion with PAO whom he deeply loves will ruin their relation, the KAM PRINCE orders the FOUR DEMONS to burn CHING's camp. Chasing after CHING and his mother, the Demons are defeated by the SEVEN GROTESQUES. To avoid TIT’s suspicion, the KAM PRINCE pretends to punish the Four Demons. He arouses ill-will between SONG KWAN and TIT to forestall TIT’s growing threat to his kingdom. In the dinner which the KAM PRINCE hosts to apologize to CHING, TO SI jeers at CHING and forbids him to use the golden cup. TIT gives his helmet to CHING for containing wine, much to SONG KWAN's discontent. Failing to gain WAH TSANG's love, TO SI jeers at her and is hit hard by CHING who resents his behavior. To avoid disputing with SONG KWAN, TIT whips CHING and decides to marry WAH TSANG to TO SI.… ...
Episode 6
Discovering CHEUNE AH SUNG's love ‘for YING, .WAH TSANG encourages CHEUNG who is too shy to show his passion. To arouse MUI CHIU FUNG’s attention, CHING is told by OR CHUN NGOK, the head of the SEVEN GROTESQUES, for disguise as selling himself for financing his father's funeral. MUI appears and attacks the SEVEN GROTESQUES. In protecting YING, CHEUNG is hurt and MUI takes to chance to run away. Before CHEUNE dies, he admits his love for YING, much to her sorrow. When hunting with CHIT PIT, TIT orders CHING to shoot the flying hawk. Overjoyed at CHING’s' feat in shooting two hawks with one arrow, TIT hosts a feast. Pleased at TIT's appreciation for CHING, WAH TSANG hints to CHING that he should ask TIT's permission for their marriage. CHING does not get the point and attends the feast without mentioning ‘the marriage. Furious, WAH TSANG runs away.… ...
Episode 7
CHING perchance meets MA YUK who on knowing his failure in practicing kung-fu, teaches him how to exercise his strength, much to his gratitude. Forced by OR to fight with the Sixth Grotesque, CHUM KAM FAT, CHING is worried though taught by the other Grotesques the key to resist. Instructed by MA, CHING easily beats CHUM in the duel. Suspicious, OR questions CHING who refuses to tell the truth. Following CHING secretly, the SIX GROTESQUES is shocked to find that CHING, with skillful kung-fu, is soon out of sight. Later they discover the place where MUI CHIU FUNG practices. Misunderstanding that CHING learns from MUI, OR decides to kill him. MA and CHING run into MUI who flees after hurting MA. The two then come across a military camp and discovers that SONG KWAN is plotting with the Kams to assassinate TIT MOK CHUN. CHING hurriedly goes to inform TIT only to find that he has already gone with TAW LUI to meet KWAN.… ...
Episode 8
When TIT MOK CHUN is surrounded by TO SI's army, CHING saves him by kidnapping TO SI. Releasing TO SI, TIT is misunderstood to be cowardly. In fact, TIT’s plot is to order a sudden attack on SONG KWAN at midnight. Finally, SONG KWAN's army is uprooted. In appreciation of CHING's deeds, TIT marries WAH TSANG to CHING but is rejected by CHING who just treats her as sister. Deeply hurt, WAH TSANG runs away and is caught by MUI CHIU FUNG. To save her, .MA helps the SIX GROTESQUES to act as the SEVEN CHUEN CHUN DISCIPLES. MUI is tricked and dares not confront them but she captures CHING as hostage. To comply with MUI's demand, MA is forced to explicate the CHUEN CHUN KUNG-FU CODES in order to save CHING and WAH TSANG.
Episode 9
On their way back to Mainland, CHING and the SIX GROTESQUES clash with the disciples of the White Camel Clan. They become alert believing that the disciples must be plotting dark tricks in Mainland. The SIX GROTESQUES allow CHING to travel around on his own. CHING runs into WONG YUNG who, disguising as a beggar, makes fun of CHING. Led by YUNG to the casino, CHING meets the THREE YELLON DEMONS who wants to take him to the KAM PRINCE. CHING thus flees with YUNG. Fearing that YUNG will be involved, CHING pretends to be angry with her. Annoyed, YUNG assist the THREE DEMONS to trap CHING in the temple. After CHING apologizes to her, YUNG releases him and leave with him by boat. Finding that the head of the THREE DEMONS, SHA TUNG TIN, is after them, YUNG jumps into the water and defeats him. CHlNG's admiration for the beauty of MOK LIM CHE whom they come across in the tavern arouses YUNG's jealousy.… ...
Episode 10
YEUNG attacks CHING and YUNG when he finds them with CHE in a temple. CHE's explanation resolves the conflict and when YEUNG asks for CHlNG's name, YUNG stops CHING and leaves with him. Seeing that CHlNG's manner resembles KWOK's, YEUNG is overcome with mixed emotions. Finding that YUNG is in fact a mistress, CHING is deeply attracted. The two then dream of their future fanciful life. Not wanting to, cheat YUNG, CHING reveals his engagement with WAH TSANG and is instantly chased away by the furious YUNG. Loving CHING, YUNG follows him and jumps up to the tree with him when she detects a trap set up in the woods. LING CHI SUPERIOR and SHA TUNG TIN attack them but leaves on knowing that YUNG is WONG’s daughter. CHING apologizes to CHE for YUNG’s tricks on her and perchance discovers that YEUNG and his father are sworn brothers when he sees his father's name on YEUNG's tag.… ...
Episode 11
Disliking YUNG's eccentricity and worrying that WONG and YUNG will bring trouble to CHING, YEUNG marries CHE to CHING who rejects due to his love for YUNG. When YUNG quarrels with CHE, CHING slaps YUNG who then furiously runs away. To avoid ruining the love between CHING and YUNG, CHE proposes to choose her husband by a fighting contest and loving HONG, she informs him about it. Caught by MUI CHIU FUNG to assist her in practising kung-fu, CHE is saved by YUNG. As HONG is late in sending prisoners to help MUI’s practice, MUI finds her feet paralyzed and thus she needs to take a rest. HONG's frivolous manner during the fighting contest annoys YEUNG who forbids CHE to marry him. Add to CHE's sorrow, she finds that in fact HONG has no intention to marry her.
Episode 12
Resenting HONG's savageness who clashes with YEUNG, CHING assists YEUNG but is defeated. lntervened by WONG CHU YAT, Elder CHUNG YEUNG's fifth disciple and HONG's uncle, HONG runs away. Knowing that HONG has connection with the notorious AU YEUNG HAK, Priest YAU rebukes HONG who then promises to break the relation but in fact he still keeps in touch with him secretly. The KAM PRJNCE and HONG host a feast for all skilful martial men. The drunken KAM PRINCE is jealous when seeing PAO fondly holding YEUNE’s belongings. Still devoted to YEUNG, PAO is unwilling to accept the prince's love. CHING secretly brings CHE's letter to HONG asking him to meet her at the temple. CHING unintentionally discloses the matter to YEUNG who furiously goes to fight with HONG. Due to HONG's limited potency, YEUNG is not killed though struck by his WHITE BONE CLAW to learns from MUl CHIU FUNG.… ...
